Five years ago today the world changed. America was attacked, and the course of human history was forever altered. As we solemnly mark the five-year anniversary of September 11, 2001 and reflect upon the heartbreaking events of that awful day, we must reaffirm our sincere promise that “We will never forget.”

We will never forget the heroes of Flight 93. We will never forget the valor of first responders who rushed into the World Trade Center buildings time and time again – many sacrificing their own lives to save others. We will never forget those who simply went to work in the twin towers and never made it home. We will never forget those lost at the Pentagon. We will never forget the innocent people who boarded four flights that would never arrive at their destinations.
And we will never forget the courageous men and women of our armed forces and law enforcement, past, present and future, who continue to protect us from ever having to experience a tragedy like that again.
We will never forget those who lost their lives that day. Today – and every day – we remember their sacrifice.
As you join with us in remembering, as you too mourn and as you too honor the victims that died five years ago today, please join us in once again promising that “We will never forget.”
May God bless us all, and God bless America.

Today’s industry for group and management development plans that include an outside or fun component is now broader than it ever has been. The requirements of each customer are normally very different with a wide range that handles numerous types of strategy.

There might be an enjoyable end of a severe developmental conclusion and the range. It’s crucial wherever the customer team wants to take a seat on this range to know. Incentive and convention based group activities are normally very not the same as the very specific improvement focused applications. Freedom and range is thus a must for leading edge companies.

Rules, diluted out in the wild experience programs and rock climbing aren’t neccessarily everybody’s preferred option legitimate although they might be for many particular briefs

Also usually, clients and customers have their expectations raised by gleaming and expensive facilities, only to be treated like thieves after they move inside. Businesses may make huge investments in technologies yet have indifferent frontline staff as a kid for guidance and more rules who show about as much enthusiasm for buyers and their needs.

For the best organizations, organizational nature or culture is an important competitive advantage. Businesses can purchase the systems, same equipment, items, people, brands, features and other tangible assets as their opponents. They can purchase frontline management training for all of their important staff to better equip them to lead their teams – see Certificate IV in Frontline Management Perth for more about how this works exactly.

But they can’t choose the intangible tradition of looking after customers or commitment to top quality that makes or breaks each of their tangible investments. This may only be received through powerful and constant authority..

It’s crucial to distinguish between your various kinds of plan available and the real customer must that they must be coordinated.

With this particular in mind it’s reasonable to say that the tough ‘Outdoorsy’ design plan must stay a world apart from a sales force is inspired by the themed team occasion force an annual meeting. Regrettably when developing plans and activities some neglect to make this declaration.

Educated customers may need applications which are carefully designed with the feature greatly on accomplishment. The plan itself must be carefully organized for the client’s particular requirements.

The framework is the scaffold that allows the associates and coordinators to develop towards their desired outcome.

Some outside applications which lack delivery and careful structuring may degrade right into a number of worthless activities. In discussion with the customer it’s essential that the correct balance is struck between evaluation and exercise.

Team-building activities may be used merely as unique and pleasant meeting improvements, or function as development resources and effective understanding for businesses and department heads. The strategy used to really start attaining either (or in some cases both) must be as the customer organization as distinctive itself.

The delivery and development of applications should therefore be designed appropriately to how these goals are evaluated (and if necessary reasonably reconciled with the resources open to the customer) and real time.

Group performance on the other side, is exactly about real benefits, exceeding and efficiency criteria and the evaluation criteria established. Efficiency at the fundamental amount is exactly about attaining the desired outcomes and accomplishing anything of importance. The elements that impact group effectiveness include methods and methods which will help a and have a larger setting within the company structure team the company objectives. Before they choose benefits because of their groups several big companies take into the economic performance of their sections and account their client satisfaction levels.

For a group to show its worth inside an company and for individual associates to add value to the typical group objective, the emphasis needs to be on efficiency. Every person within the group should have a as a whole performance function method for the group to succeed.

The principal objectives of team building perth are to increase enthusiasm and production. Taking employees out of the office allows communities remove interruptions, break down personal and political limitations, and have fun. The benefits of team-building programs are so significant that numerous companies have included teambuilding approaches into their typical teaching program.

Now some of you may be thinking “why is this guy so negative about working in a big corporation.” well, to prove to you that I don’t think that it is necessarily a bad thing, here are my top reasons why it’s good to have a job in Corporate America (If you don’t care for the cut and dry serious views, just scroll down to the ”slackers”section below):
1) Flexible hours (Flex 40) or if you’re lucky enough a 9/80 (every other Friday off) or 8/80 (every Friday off) work week.
2) The steady paycheck gives you a reason to wake up at 6:30 in the morning, while attempting to have a possible semi-productive day (depending on your definition of productive).
3) Almost guaranteed pay raise/bonus (except for sales)
4) Surely but slowly, career growth, depends on how much effort you put forth, but it’s fairly straight forward and linear.
5) A semi-stress free work environment
6) Employee Stock options (potential company matching) and 401k (for now at least).
7) College Tuition reimbursement.
8) Corporate Benefits (Employee Purchase plans, gym memberships/reimbursements).
9) Several weeks of paid vacation/sick leave.
10) Possible Breakfast Friday’s (Breakfast Burritos, Donuts or Bagels).
11) Meeting your future spouse at work is better than meeting them at a bar.
12) It gives you a reason to look forward to the weekend.
13) The occasional free lunch courtesy of someone’s birthday, promotion or departure.
14) Free coffee.
15) It gives you an excuse not to do something. No one can argue with you when you say “I can’t, I have to get up early tomorrow for work.”
16) You get to make friends with people that are generally the same age as you and have similar interests.

Work Life Balance

The Slackers list: 19 reasons why your job in corporate America is good enough to keep you coming in everyday.
1) Get Paid to surf the web, write your blog, play your online games, check your external email and the list goes on and on… Basically the web is your friend, especially during Fantasy Football season!!! Come on LT!!!…
2) If you really cared about your job, you could put your entire department out of job, but even then, the pay wouldn’t be worth putting forth the extra effort or dealing with the extra responsibility.
3) Can you say three day weekends and holidays!!!
4) Using your sick days wisely, preferably in combination with off Fridays and holidays, let’s hear it for not working for a whole week.
5) Long Lunches, mandatory 1 hour lunches, possibly longer on Fridays.
6) For the smokers, smoke breaks, every hour for a minimum of 10 minutes.
7) Make your tasks seem harder than they really are, even though all your do is data management; which is basically burning cd’s/dvd’s all day and slapping corporate logo’s on them; while occasionally responding to work related emails (fun times).
8) Bullsh*t meetings, now lets waste everyone’s time, who doesn’t love the fact that you’re still trying to solve the same problem you were having 14 months ago; way to make progress (Now that’s job security!).
9) Internal Corporate Instant Messenger, best idea ever and whichever CEO gave the “go ahead” on that decision, finally earned their paycheck with that one.
10) It is pretty satisfying to “borrow” office supplies from work.
11) Mail your eBay items via corporate courier, discount shipping!
12) Casual Friday aka Slacker Friday (t-shirts and jeans, if it were up to you, it’d be a robe, slippers and underwear).
13) Possible Breakfast club Friday’s (Breakfast Burritos, Donuts or Bagels), it beats the hell out of the roach coach, mmmmm what’s in this again???

14) Listening to people ramble on about absolutely nothing, or how “this place used to be different” and how you need to get out while you can (save yourself).
15) Giving your co-workers nicknames (K-Man, T the crazy arse gibberish spewing Janitor and of course H.F.G.= Hairy Fat Guy and who doesn’t love them!) and also being convinced that some of your co-workers are actually robots, like Salami-Bot 5000 and the kanobot.

16) You can only open so many emails with attachments and forwards in one day, but for some strange reason,LoLcats never get old…

17) Let’s be honest, it is basically like high school and there is plenty of gossip to get involved in.
18) Office Pranks, how else are we suppose to kill time on those never ending Fridays.

19) The steady paycheck gives you a reason to wake up at 6:30 in the morning, while attempting to have a possible semi-productive day (depending on your definition of productive).
As we can see there are some major differences, but several similarities between the two lists, a few things we have learned: You can’t go wrong with a steady paycheck, free food, paid leave and lack of responsibility.
Corporate America, we salute you!

Here’s a question for you: why is it that no matter what day of the week it is, whenever you
run into someone in the office you always ask them “so what are you up to this weekend?”

It might not be that exact question of course; if it is a Monday or Tuesday it might be “So
what did you do this weekend?” Are we so bored at work that all we can ever think about is
what we do when we are not at work, maybe we should try to convince management to move to the 5 day weekend schedule instead? The thing is, this has become our default question for any situation in the office, especially in the early morning and those last few tedious hours on Friday afternoon; usually spent day dreaming about weekend activities anddelicious weekend foods.

Got any plans for the weekend?

Has this one ever happened to you (I’m sure it has, as the real question should be who hasn’t it happened to and consider yourself lucky)? You are at work and minding your own business, maybe you’re even just walking through the hallway to get to a meeting and you run into someone whose name you can’t quite remember (Just look for the corporate leash). Then they start with the usual pleasantries and you are now officially obligated to somewhat par-take in their conversation and now you begin to start crying on the inside…
What do you talk to them about (Odds are you’re just looking to move on with the rest of your day and don’t really care to hear their life story about how they alphabetically sorted all their favorite 1980′s video tape commercials over the weekend and found a NIB Amanaman via Ebay!)?

There is really only one thing to do: ask them about the weekend…

Here’s the thing, no matter whom you are talking to, you really don’t even have to listen. You could care less what the creepy guy in accounting did the previous weekend. Your reaction is always the same: polite head nod, maybe a smile and don’t forget the courtesy laugh. You don’t care, yet you ask the question anyway. Why do we do this, we already know what the outcome will be; do we really enjoy partaking in this self perpetuating cycle of hate?

Ok, we all know corporate America and for those who don’t; consider yourself blessed and praise to the FSM that you never have to deal with that realm ever!
Now, corporate america is not a complete blunder or loss, you can actually learn real tools to take onto other jobs/professions/careers, I present to you:

The WhiteBoard/WhitePaper aka the War Room(WB/WP/WR).

Much like anything else, there can be too much of a good thing, so in this case stick to the KISS principle and toss out any people with very little to offer (Too Many Cooks in the Kitchen is a bad thing and in my kitchen I am head Chef), initially, since we’re trying to Map out a Plan of attack. So no more than 3-5 people, even with those numbers it’s like having 1.5 to 3 solid fully functioning brains due to group thinking…

The WB/WP/WR is used to help lay out your teams idea & focuses from entire business plans, marketing plans, or just plain ol good brainstorming, so pick up a pen and start writing. If you don’t have a rolling whiteboard or a room like this at Mindlab (more cool workplaces):
Just go ahead and grab a good section of banner paper
Cut to size (4-6ft in length)
Painters tape (other tapes run the risk of removing the paint)
Place the tape in the corners and center (top and bottom)
Now you’re all set, if you have the “carpeted walls” just do the same thing with pushpins.
Step1: Obtain a Whiteboard or some Whitepaper (WP can be bought at Staples, basically a roll of Banner Paper)
Step2: Move into an open area or pin/tape to a wall with a lot of empty space
Step3: Use Markers and Brains to create semi-logical ideas (Note it may take many attempts on some ideas, it took us close to twenty when we were trying to finalize some pitch phrases)
Step4: Write More ideas
Step5: Edit/Erase Ideas
Step6: Identify legitimate Ideas to implement

Step7: Breakdown Ideas into tasks (<gasp>more corporate ideology)
Step8: Apply a time line to goals (Keep it realistic).
Step9: Hit the Bar (you deserve it) and rest up for tomorrow.
Step10: (Hung-over)Now get ready to work like you’re Donald Trump with his Hairpiece on

Fire and keeping pace with your timeline is critical to your success…
When you’re done you should see a piece of artwork like this: BizzFlip WP (We’re missing the far left section, another 3 feet or so of WP).

Odds are after this you will probably have to give a presentation and might want to follow some of the tips fromEscape from Cubicle Nation, but if the corporate world is starting to catch up to you, it might be time to slow down and refocus…

Electronic cigarettes have absolutely exploded onto the scene lately due to their massive benefits over traditional cigarettes. Even celebrities are using them as a replacement for the cancer-causing tobacco smoke that their favorite pack of smokes is so well known for. As we all know, once a celebrity endorses a new product it’s basically off to the races for that particular product. In this case, e-cigarettes are off to the races and then some. They have become so popular, so fast that there is hardly enough supply to fill the massive demand that is hitting companies right now.

Let’s break down why these are becoming so popular. It’s no secret that cigarette smoke kills. The combination of smoke inhalation and the deadly chemicals that are rampant in the product make for a very dangerous mix. Inhale enough of that over the course of your lifetime and you better believe you’ll end up with some serious health issues…if you make it past fifty or sixty. I think that people these days are really focusing on their health and living in a more sustainable way. Combine that with the fact that many people simply can’t afford to buy the expensive packs of cigarettes and you have a compelling reason for people to look outside the traditional to something new.

These products have the unique ability to be both safe and affordable. The cigarette holder is actually a metal contraption that is filled with the packs of nicotine. These are then vaporized by the internal components and then inhaled by the user. The beauty of the entire product is that the only byproduct is water vapor. Yes, you heard me right – you’re only breathing out water. Compare that to the hundreds of cancer causing compounds that are being exhaled by a pack of Camel cigarettes and you can see why people are switching quickly to ecigarettes.

Another added benefit is the fact that you can add your own personal sense of style to these products like nothing else that I have ever seen in the smoking paraphernalia industry. The ecigarette holders come in an endless variety of colors, sizes, shapes and all of them have their own unique type of artwork. You can express yourself with your choice of holder and all of this is something that the youth of today are really looking for. In a world where too many of us are feeling like we’re all buying the same products, doing the same things and going to the same stores, the little things like this can really make a big difference in how we view a product.

In the end, I think that people are really going to flock to ecigarettes even more than they already have. All it’s going to take is a few more celebrity endorsements and pieces like this to get the word out about this revolutionary new way to enjoy cigarettes – without all the downsides of cigarettes.

You can check out a good range of electronic cigarettes at a site I found, you can visit them here.

If you are trying to decide what medical insurance plans you should go with, then you are probably finding yourself severely confused by the entire situation. Let me give you some tips and tricks on what to do to find the best insurance coverage for you and your family.

First of all make sure that you can find an insurance plan that allows you to go to doctors and urgent cares that are close by to where you live. I had an experience where I had a real emergency and could not wait to drive for a few hours to get to where my doctor was. I ended up in an emergency room close to my apartment and my condition was stabilized; however when I saw the $600 hospital bill a couple of months later I would have rather driven than pay!

You never know when you are going to have a serious medical emergency, so you need to make sure you have easy access to a doctor or dentist. A good idea is to ask a friend or neighbor for what doctor they use. You might find comfort knowing that they trust this certain doctor, and overall your experience will probably better. Plus you can carpool to the doctor’s office for your routine checkups!

Get the right insurance then the right dentist.

Especially important is choosing the right dentist. I would say this is even more important than finding a good primary care physician, since so many people have a negative connotation for going to the dentist’s office. Of course you need to find one who accepts your dental insurance (http://zahnweissinfo.com/zahnzusatzversicherung/) plan, but you also need to find someone who makes you feel comfortable. My personal dentist my parents and I have been going to for over two decades. The reason why we stay going to him even though he is not the cheapest dentist in the world is because he is a comedian. He likes to tell jokes and makes light of many situations, so you never feel scared or anxious in his chair.

Another important thing to consider is how much you anticipate needing to visit a dentist or doctor. This is because some plans restrict the number of visits or amount of money they will cover in a year. If you have a limit on how much coverage you have, you need to make sure you do not go over it or you will end up paying thousands of dollars out of pocket. Make sure you honestly assess your needs and health issues before you sign up for a specific insurance plan so you can determine exactly how much coverage you will need.
Even if you do not have a ton of money to allocate towards medical and dental insurance, do not worry. There are numerous plans that will offer plenty of coverage that are still relatively low in cost. You just have to make sure you do all of the appropriate research before choosing one so that you know what is right for your lifestyle.

I have three children and they all love television. Don’t get me wrong, they still play sports and are socially active in a lot of other ways, but sometimes kids just need a break. I’m not the type of parent that’s going to deprive my children of something just because I personally don’t watch much TV. Without these crucial “mind breaks” I think that my already overachieving kids would go absolutely crazy and turn into achievement robots, which is the exact opposite of what I want for them.
In fact, I have decided to purchase one of those 3d TVs in order to reward them for all of their hard work. All three of my children do well in their respective sports and are quite the achievers in academics. I even have them all learning how to play piano! With all of these extracurricular activities, I think it’s safe to say that kids need time to just be kids. They like to have friends over and watch cartoons or children’s movies, so I figured that getting a 3d TV would just enhance the experience for them.

Its... beautiful?

To be completely honest, I kind of want to see what they’re like as well! I haven’t even seen a 3d movie yet, but my husband took my kids out to see the latest animated movie in 3d and they couldn’t stop talking about it! They came home practically bouncing off of the walls and screaming about how cool it was to see things pop out of the screen into their faces. The smiles and pure jubilance that I saw on their faces was enough to push me into getting the TV for them. I thought, “My children do so much for themselves and me – why not give them a little treat!”
When they heard word that they would be getting a 3d TV – I suspect my husband “let it slip” – all three of them came up to me and gave me the biggest hug that I have ever gotten from them. It was such a heartwarming moment for me, because I knew that they were appreciative not just of the gift, but of the fact that I recognized all of their accomplishments in a tangible way. I’m not one to reward my kids with gifts and prizes all of the time, but every parent has to make an exception sometimes.
So, I got the TV just last week. Needless to say, all of my children absolutely love it. My littlest child actually shed a tear when she saw a movie on it for the first time, proclaiming “It’s so beautiful!” I nearly teared up myself at that cute little proclamation. I truly am blessed with a wonderful family!

Trapped by your credit?

It’s 3:00 in the morning and you can’t sleep. It’s the anxiety and stress of your credit card bills; what’s been paid, what hasn’t, the enormous amount of credit card debt, the reality that you owe more than what you make. It’s just driving you crazy.

If you’re struggling with credit card debt, then you’ve probably have thought about seeking out the assistance of credit card debt elimination services. For an upfront fee of $2,500 or more credit card debt elimination services try to sell you on their program that promises to wipe your slate clean. Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it?

One way credit card debt elimination programs pull you in is by claiming that you can erase away debt through the use of hidden or obscure laws. Many debt elimination services will allege that credit card lending is, in fact, illegal. Referring to publications by the Federal Reserve Board, the Truth in Lending Act, and other public laws to support their claims, they maintain that if you stop paying your debt, the credit card companies will take you to court. Since credit card lending is illegal, they conclude that you will win.

Is this a scam or is it for real? To answer this question, you have to ask yourself several questions.

First of all, if credit card lending is illegal, and if there was a loophole that could eliminate your unwanted debt, wouldn’t a lawyer would be aware of it? If so, then the best course of action would be to get counseling from an attorney. Second, would credit card companies make it so easy to borrow money if it was so easy to get out of paying them? Third, do you really want to go to court to fight the credit card companies with a weak defense while they have an entire team of slick lawyers that know the law? Lastly, what proof do these credit card debt elimination companies have that their scheme works? Is there a legal precedent that supports the notion that credit card lending is in fact illegal? Why not just run a free credit report yourself and use that to figure out the best way to get out of debt and improve your credit score?

As tempting as it sounds, these debt elimination techniques simply do not work and the con artists cannot provide a single solitary case in support of their outrageous claims. The absence of any verifiable proof is the red flag that tells you this scheme simply doesn’t work. A lot of folks have been conned out of $2,500 to $15,000 just to have their debt wiped away.

If you have become the victim of a debt elimination scam, it is important that you report it. You can bring scam artists to justice and prevent others from becoming the victims of fraud.
